Today, I received my ColcaSac "Juan Valdez" :apple: iPad sleeve! So happy with it.*:):)

Check out their site:*
http://www.colcasac.com

They have sleeves in other patterns and for other devices as well.

The sleeves are all handmade here in the USA in Salt Lake City.*

That particular design doesn't float my boat, to say the least, but, if you click on the link, their other offerings aren't bad. I would consider the black Zagora model for a casual sleeve at home. Just not a fan of the white stock velcro, looks tacky... should have used color - matching velcro or perhaps magnets.

That name makes me crave some coffee
At first, it was totally unexpected, but it looks nice as I look at it.. Does it give enough protection, though?

I think it looks awesome! Does it smell like coffee?;)

Yes a faint smell.

No worries about iPad theft.

One of the main reasons I bought it. Gonna get one for my new MacBook Pro Retina Display.

Perhaps a colored Velcro be better. But the magnets no. One of the objectives of the sleeve is to have no metal zippers snaps etc that would scratch or damage the device.

It is so soft and cushiony inside it protects it very well despite the burlap sac exterior. It disguises it so well and protects it.

Looks terrible.

That's probably the ugliest iPad case I've ever seen.

As far as the "J,uan Valdez" pattern it is unique because not one of them looks exactly the same as another "Juan Valdez" because they are handmade from real coffee sacks. These are made in the USA.

Is it waterproof? I worry about stuff spilling inside my bag onto my Mac/iPad.

Asked them the same question, last year. They offered to spray water repellent on my sleeve to make it waterproof. Still happily using my Zagora iPad sleeve til now. Would get another one when I decide to get the new iPad.

Not particularly my style, but definitely interesting, congrats!
