Looks space grey to me. The silver model has a white front, so that is another way you can check.

I too wish it was darker. But such is life...

Definitely Space Grey. Only thing that initially told me it was not silver was the black face. Wish it had been a little darker myself.

I can only assume you haven't handled a one of these at any retailer yet? I agree the color is... not really as described. But if you are thinking you got a "bad" unit, I feel you are mistaken. This is what Apple's Space Grey looks like this year!

Yea, I did handle them briefly, but I didn't once look at the color. I only handled it briefly to gauge interest in the 6 or 6+.

lol, I have to say, I am utterly shocked that this phone is space grey. Not nearly as dark as many of the pics I've seen online ( apple included ). It does in fact have the black front.... So I guess it is a space grey.

Best part, I called AT&T to tell them I got the wrong color in the box and they said to just run down to my local AT&T store and do a swap. They said there would be a restocking fee but they credited my account before I even hung up the phone. Guess I get to keep the phone, save some time and gas and keep the $40 credit. I'll take it since the color advertised isn't quite as dark as I thought / wanted. :D

Thanks for the input everyone. Saved me time and money !!!

I did, thanks.

However, what can one do with simply a serial number?

Read somewhere it may be possible to be cloned onto a different phone? So it'll become blacklisted. Not sure, but not worth the risk :)
