finally got myself macbook air a few days ago after a few months of wondering. wow, what a piece of kit, really fast, everything works flawlessly.

I want to use the macbook to sync my iPhone, its currently synced to my windows PC, does anyone have any tips on how to transfer the data to the air so it wont wipe the phone when I try and sync, back up etc.

cheers guys.

iTunes will not wipe your phone. It is a little smarter than that.

Firs thing you need to do before and sync si a back up to your computer. Even if you use the cloud for backups, a good complete backup on your computer is always a good idea.

You should be able to sync your iPhone via iTunes on your new MBA without a problem.

Just plug it in and select the options you want and sync your phone. It will not sync any non purchased music that you may have downloaded and will just move purchased music.
