i was sick and tired of waiting and i am happy i didn't wait
i am extremely pleased with this design and i can actually open an application without my computer saying "NOT RESPONDING"!
It is wonderful!

Congratulations on the MBP and welcome to both the forum and the world of Mac. Enjoy the great laptop, and may it and you both "live long and prosper together".
Cheers

Congrats!

I also have the 2.5Ghz/250Gb model as well; it's awesome. Not my first mac (that honor goes to the 1.67Ghz PowerBook I sold to pay for this one). I really love the MBP though, and I just hope we don't get burned by Nvidia issues.

Congratulations on your purchase I am sure you will enjoy it!

Congrats....

I'm gonna get a mac, but once the new ones come out with a new design. I wont switch cold turkey though. I'll run boot camp for like 6 months to a year and slowly transition fully to a mac...

I converted to :apple: when the 17" Penryn with High Resolution Screen came out. Literally called everyday here in the Los Angeles and Orange County even Las Vegas and I bought one, the only one, in the area of 300 miles.

I haven't looked back and regretted it at all. In fact, I bought a used 12" Powerbook a few weeks ago and love both so much.

Congratulations on your purchase!
