Got my phone, I love it, wish I could make love to it.

I installed Simplfy Media and I'm wondering, do i need music on it anymore? Of course I'd hate to be in an area without 3g or edge and not be able to stream but most of my area is covered.

Or maybe keep my absolute favorites on it and just stream new songs?

Only your own experience can tell you for sure, but... I don't know how much you use your phone altogether (e.g. for phone calls, SMS, e-mail, maps, etc), but ... here are some thoughts:

- The iPod function is going to integrate better with all of this, since it can run in the background

- Unless you really don't use your phone much, just using streaming all the time is going to pound your battery, isn't it?

Simplify hasn't been terribly reliable for me. It's cool when it works, but I can't connect to it much of the time. Also, sometimes the songs stop in the middle and it has to buffer them again.

Most of the time I listen to music transferred directly onto my iphone.

therefore, simplify isn't that much useful, especially when considering battery life.

what else would you use your gigabytes for? no point in an empty phone.
