Hey guys. New here to the forum. I had picked up a used iPhone 6s Plus for the time being till the new 7 comes out. The damn thing is so slippery that I wanted something to give me better grip right away. On a phone this size, a case really doesn't make much sense to me as it adds even more bulk. So instead, I ordered a dBrand carbon fibre skin for it. It's a bit hard to install but gives a fantastic feel of the phone's profile. The fit and finish is absolutely fantastic too.

Yep I had one, took it off due to a warranty swap. There awesome, easy to fit and the finish is spot on
I have tried a few other brands and a few local ones too. Most of them either don't fit as well or leave a residue when removed. dBrand though, has been 10/10 till now.

I tried out the DBrand titanium skin. I ended up taking it off because the skin was thick enough that the buttons became flush with it; making them hard to feel without looking at the phone. Is this an issue for you as well or no?

That carbon fiber does look real nice though!

No not at all, the skin has neat cutouts for the buttons and if placed properly there is absolutely no interference in their working from the skin.

No, I'm not saying there is interference from the skin. I applied it correctly, and it took like 20 minutes because I was trying to be perfect. For me the skin was essentially the same thickness as the buttons so the buttons were flush with the skin, making it difficult for me to tell where they were by touch alone. I just did t know of the carbon fiber skin was thinner than the titanium or if it's just an issue that I have with the skin itself. For example: if the buttons stick out from the phone for .1mm then the skin is .1mm it would be difficult to figure out where the buttons are as they would be one smooth surface.

In that case, it's pretty much the same experience. The thickness of the carbon fibre skin levels out the button feel so yes, that's a bit of an issue.

But overall , I feel it's made the 6s+ so much grippy. Due to the slippery design of the phone, using it bare for me used to make it feel larger than it was. Somehow with the skin it feels slimmer.
