Carrier Got pre-approved for IUP with a card with $500 credit

So, I have a credit card that has a very small available credit on it - $500, with $0 used. I accidentally used that card for the upgrade program pre-approval for the iPhone XS Max - and it worked, said to come back at 12:01am on Friday to finish, got the confirmation email, etc etc.

Maybe something changed, but I thought the amount available on the credit card being used, had to be more than the total cost of the iPhone you are getting. Is that not the case?

Should I be worried about something wonky happening when I try to complete the order on Friday morning?
Kinda worried now...thanks in advance!

It's dependent upon your credit score, not credit card amount.

It's not based on your credit limit. It's based on your credit score and history. But if you did get pre-approved, then I wouldn't worry about it.

I just wasn’t sure if the night of the order, if they would put a hold on the card for the total iPhone amount, and in that case, the $500 wouldn’t be enough!

They typically will charge you the sales tax (based on your zip code) plus your 1st month payment.
