Got series 3 Apple Watch on grandfathered plan

Got My series 3 Apple Watch and can’t activate it because I have the 450 minutes talk plan with the grandfather unlimited data. Anyone have this same problem and was successful activating a series 3 Apple Watch on this Verizon plan?

Go to a corporate AT&T store and tell them you want the Unlimited Wearable plan. If they tell you you need to switch to a newer iPhone plan tell them you know it is possible to add the $10 plan to your existing account. Lots of us have done it. It took me 10 minutes at an AT&T store. It’s basically free money for AT&T so you should find a rep who will do it for you.

Same process applies, go to a Verizon Corporate Retail location instead of a kiosk in the mall or a Verizon Authorized Agent.
