So most of the time I notice that usually 90% of the cpu is always dormant when I am using the computer. The most I ever used was around 25-30 when I was running 3 chess games simultaneously (computer vs computer in all three).
The fan went up pretty fast but only 20-30 percent of the cpu was being used.

What would happen around the 90% mark? Would the fans go crazy or would the laptop burst into flames?

Furthermore I notice that when I am doing something light such as having multiple safari pages open and coding in python my ram usage seems to be pretty high but the pressure is pretty low. But when I had the chess games on the ram pressure was higher than usual (still low with no swapping) but the ram being used was lower than when I am doing lighter work.
I do not get it :/

Also do you guys think it would be a wise idea for me to download and play any of the bioshock games. I can get bioshock infinite cheaper for the mac than for the ps3. So just wondering.

Thanks :D
