Got my first mac ever today, the baseline MBP with all the standard stuff. Plan to upgrade memory and hd in the future. so far i absolutely love it. for those of you who were wondering about student discount without an id card, all you have to do is show a letter that you got into college and it works. no complaints about the computer so far, been running at about 48* all day and the memory and cpu are both good.
