Got to make an upgrade. Which one tho?

So I currently have a CD 2.16 Macbook Pro maxed out at 2gb. Starting to get a bit sluggish and the fans kick on like crazy. I'm looking at getting a new 15" MBP. I am getting a bit confused on which one to go with. I know all max out at 8gb which is what I will ultimately be doing. My main thing is, I am an new architecture student and will be using the computer a lot, running programs like Maya, Rhino, Revit, 3DS Max, and Autocad. I know these are memory intensive programs but will processor speed be a big factor? Thanks :apple:
 
keep in mind that the lowest 15" does not have the dedicated gpu card. dont know much about your programs, but they might benefit from this card when Snow Leopard comes out.
