I upgrade my wife to the iPhone 5S a couple weeks ago when they allowed unlimited users to upgrade without losing unlimited. Naturally I assumed Verizon would try to back out of the deal so I kept needed screen shots. Phone finally came in and I called to activate it. Naturally the guy says, you know your going to lose unlimited right?. Uh, no I'm not. Go back and forth a little. Tell him I have the screen shots and if they don't want to honor it they can have the phone back. He finally says that he can add it back. Uh oh, he already took it off. He messes around for a few minutes figuring it out and finally says he got it straightened out. Came back and said it was going to be $24.99. Huh? Yep, $24.99. Ok, I'll take it.

Cliffs:
Verizon tried to remove unlimited. Relented, added it back at $5 cheaper.

Happened to me too but it is the corporate discount that makes it cheaper

It shouldn't be. My corporate discount is only supposed to discount data on the main, at least it was previously. This is an added line on a family plan.
