So I decided to get some Corsair RAM (2x4GB) to upgrade my 2010 MacBook Pro. After I installed it, I had several kernel panics and system shutdowns. So, I am going to have to RMA it back to NewEgg and eat the shipping cost back to them. I'm not complaining, but I went out of my way to order RAM specifically stating it is compatible with my Mac, and this is what I get.

Hopefully, the new RAM will work and I can put this behind me.

Thanks for listening to my rant. :)

Doesn't Newegg pay for return shipping?? They did for me last time when I did a return.

if you are returning a defective product, you don't have to pay the shipping costs. Contact newegg CS.

If you ordered the wrong type of ram and it's not compatible, they may or may not take care of the shipping costs, but you should still contact customer service.

Well, I should've waited until the NewEgg staff was back in the office on Monday. They offered to cover the shipping, so I can't complain about that. They were more than accommodating. This was my first product return to them, so I have to say I am satisfied.
