Got water in volume buttons

I don't know what I was thinking but I washed my hands and they weren't completely dry and I accidentally pressed the volume buttons on my iPad Air 2. I didn't realize until a couple seconds later and then I dried it. I'm usually very careful with my devices around water, but I wasn't thinking this time. Should I worry about damage to my iPad?
