Much greener pastures
Feels like I lost a friend tonight. Gotham has been a thoroughly enjoyable ride, and it's finally come to an end.

But it was an end that left you wanting more. The final episode (titled "The Beginning...") went by so fast I can't help thinking they really should've made it a two hour finale...and it played almost like a pilot for a follow-up Batman series.

Farewell Oswald, Ed Nygma, Selina, Alfred and the rest. It's been a wonderfully bonkers five years.

I agree. Having been a fan of the show since season 1, I really felt like this finale was too short and kinda rushed. So many questions unanswered. Amazing actors only got this one episode to be their fully formed characters and it’s just over now. It didn’t fully satisfy me the way I hoped and unfortunately, this show is an elseworld story so there’s really no comic book series that takes in all the changes and new origin they made.

I really hope WB realizes that people truly want to see Batman enter the small screens as well, not just for 5 mins of blurriness.
