Not sure what it is with people...but I just grabbed a 24" LED Cinema Display for $100 off of Craigslist. The only catch is that the MDP jack is finicky. When you plug it in, sometimes it'll work, sometimes it won't. But once it works, it doesn't flicker out. And seeing as I'm jacking this into my iMac, I don't expect there to be too much "plugging and unplugging". I've been running it off my MBP for the last hour with no problems...Hell of a deal though!

Sorry, had a rough week, needed a reason to brag a little...

What did you pay?

Nice deal.

Did you check to see if there is still warranty left? You might be able to sneak it in and get it fixed. Just complain a lot. :p

About a year out of warranty, but it's attached to my 27" iMac at the moment and has been working like a charm for the last 36 hours. Here's to a successful find!

hopefully the Po-lease don't come knocking on your door. If not, great deal. What do they cost new, $800?

Nah, I picked it up from a political media group in Georgetown here in DC. The CEO didn't have the patience to fiddle with the cable every time he plugged and unplugged it into his MBP, so he'd just as soon buy a new one and get rid of this one...win-win.
