Gotta love the square hole where the video button should be

Yeah, I think that's where it goes, in the Camera app, just a black square. Tapping it brings up the camera roll. Is this normal?

It's a black square because there are no photos in your camera roll. It normally shows a thumbnail of the last photo taken.

Yea, its not supposed to the be the video camera, it just shows the last picture in your camera roll.

There were pics in there, but I had to take a new one and reboot.
