The GPS on my iPhone is ALWAYS on and I have no idea why. In the top right of the top bar, the arrow for GPS is there 24/7... Even after I restart the phone and when no apps are running. Anyone know why it's always on, esp when there are no apps open?

Do you have the Google Search app with Google Now? If so, the gps icon will always be on. The following is from the iTunes description:

To provide up-to-the-minute information, Google Now turns on Location Services. Even though the icon stays on, the app has minimal battery impact:

• The app doesn’t turn on the GPS. Instead, it receives passive updates from nearby cell towers and WIFI hot spots.
• If your battery is running low, the app pauses location updates.
• The app stays asleep unless your device moves a long distance.

Also, you can go to Settings - General - Restrictions - Location Services to see which apps have recently used Location Services.

It was Dropbox

I went to my restrictions and ... It was disabled, is this normal or the default setting. I had to enable it to go it, then disabled it again when I checked what app it was.
