I was also hoping for a camer, but it didn't happen. Disapointed yes, but i want to know why no gps? I really wanted both. I have been reading the post and haven't seen anything about gps on the new ipod touch. Any one have any informtion about this. I have been looking at the igps 360 and sent an e-mail but haven't gotten a response. It it still in business? I currently have a ipod 2g, i purchased December 2008.

I too was disappointed by the lack of GPS in the new iPod touch. I can understand their goal of keeping the price point as low as possible, but still - GPS is the most useful feature on my iPhone.

Orange Gadgets is definitely still in business - I ordered a iGPS360 awhile back, it arrived 3 days later, and works great with my jailbroken iPod touch. It's SMALL, smaller than it looks on the website.

Other than the TomTom car kit, has anyone heard of any official accessories that would give us GPS on un-jailbroken iPod touch devices?

TomTom's it I know of at this point. But I'm sure there'll be more.

All we have to do is wait for the jailbreak and the confirmation of Orange Gadgets to know if it works on Ipod Touch 3G

Exactly. No reason to buy it if it won't work.

$75 is a bit expensive, anyone see it cheaper anywhere? I'm willing to pay it if I must, but it sure would be nice to shave $25 off it.

Apparently the TomTom set will be quite expensive, so I'll definitely be going with this.
