Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a small GPS chip that you can put in your car or bike, and then track it via an app on your phone?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You would need a device that can communicate via cellular to work, A chip is just an inert piece collection of silicon and other material. There's no way for a phone or computer to track a chip. You would need to provide power to it, and way for the device to communicate with the phone.

That's why Find my Phone doesn't work when a thief powers it down.

Sorry, that's what i meant... is there any device that does this?
