Anyone else experience this issue? I seem to get an inconsistent GPS fix when my phone is either connected to a wireless charger or using a magnetic mount. If I remove it it seems to get a quality GPS fix.
What GPS app are you using? Sensor data is verified by the other sensors and an inaccurate sensor losses its weight when it comes to contributing to core location and core motion corrected data. However an app could be using the raw magnetometer data.
You use a magnetic holder and wireless charging? Curiosity is peaked, how do you place metal part on the phone but not between the phone and wireless charger?

My apologies for not clarifying. I first noticed the issue using a magnetic mount. I tossed it when I realized as soon as it was disconnected from the mount the gps fix came back properly. I then bought a wireless charger and the same thing happens. It doesn't matter whether it is a naked phone or case.
Apple Maps or Google Maps. Also happens on ios 13 and 14.
