I got my first iPhone in 2008 in Brooklyn NY. Google Maps etc. has always worked well since unless AT&T got flaky with the internet connection.

I've now just moved to the Philly suburbs - Delaware County to be exact - and I've gone from being placed in a completely different town (Wynnewood instead of Springfield for those in the know), the right town but wrong location within, and not being able to find a location at all. :( When that happens it affects apps like Accuweather as well.

Is there something I can do to fix this? I'm still learning my way around so not having an accurate GPS really isn't a good thing and is pretty aggravating.

You must have bad cell reception in the area. Thus, it can't triangulate you accurately, and therefore, it can't help to find a satellite to pinpoint your location. You could try resetting network settings, but I doubt it will fix it.
