Hi.

I'm looking for a good NAV app that takes advantage of the iPad's screen size. I do have the Motion X app, but this requires a 3G connection and when I'm on the highway there's not always 3G available.

I don't really want to spend the money on TomTom or Navigon because I'll just be using screen doubling with them and I'm not sure they'd look very good.

I do know there is one other iPad specific app that is available, but the name escapes me and the reviews were quite poor.

Anyone have insight or knowledge on how TomTom/Navigon looks on the iPad?

Thanks all.

There is also Magellan, which costs $10 less than the Tom Tom app and seems to be pretty good.
With MotionX you can also download maps to your iPad from OpenStreeMaps and other sources for offline using
