I had this bizarre issue on my iPhone where every 5-10 minutes I would loose service and I'd have no service for a few minutes and then id get my signal back. i couldn't talk on the phone for longer than 5 minutes without the service dropping out thus killing the call. This became extremely frustrating and I even contemplated upgrading to an iPhone 5 even though I'm not eligible for an upgrade.
I had this problem for a month. Since I'm jailbroken I couldn't take my phone to the apple store.
Anyways a few weeks ago the phone miraculously started working again and everything is back to normal except for the GPS.
My GPS doesn't work at all now and 3rd party navigation apps are now useless such as Garmin uUSA and Google Maps.
It this likely a hardware issue and do you think the issue that caused my phone to not have service for longer than 5 minutes is related to my GPS issue
I'm curious if anybody has had this issue. I would like to be able to use my GPS apps however I am not willing to give up my jailbreak and loose NCSettings, activator, Tetherme, and BiteSMS and the ability to have a 5th icon in my dock over this
