Hi, I've got a 3G iPhone jail broken and unlocked on the iPad baseband which of course got rid of my GPS. So I'm wondering are there any external GPS add ons that will give me GPS back? I seeto remember a friend had some sort of add on that gave him GPS on an iPod touch, but I can't remember what it was so maybe someone here can help me and let me know if one exists and if it would work on the iPad baseband.

There's the Tom-Tom or Magellan GPS receiver. But I think they only work with the Tom-Tom and Magellan apps.

I read that "BT Stack" from Cydia ($5) and a Bluetooth receiver such as GLOBALSAT BT359C BLUETOOTH GPS RECEIVER (about £10 delivered from eBay) should work.

Hope this helps. I haven't tried it myself.

That sounds like a good idea, has anyone else tried this and had it work?
