Hello,

I am very new to the iPhone (former Blackberry user), and I was wondering if there is an app available that would grab the GPS coords from my iPhone, send them to a webserver, and display my location on a google (or yahoo) maps for other users to see? Kind of a tracking application??

I appreciate any links, advice, etc. ahead of time.

Thanks,
-Shannon

There's a bunch of apps in the iTunes store that do this to one extent or the other. Go to the App store and search on GPS or the 'Navigation' category. I think there are also a few in the 'Social Networking' category.

hi, take a look here, or on the actual website here

its a link to "GPS Tracker"
its free, but the app on the iphone is not particularly attractive. however, it sends your gps data to their server, at most every 5 seconds, and the data can be viewed on google maps
