3G isn't available in my area. So I'm curious if the GPS will work over EDGE and if so that well? Since GPS displays in Google maps, it means Google maps is going to have to download the map data over EDGE, which can be slow as heck sometimes.

GPS without 3G

It'll work as well as Google Maps does right now over EDGE -- it's kinda slow, but mostly usable.
