I've seen rare reports in support forums on the net, that the game RUST was heavy on the GPU in some Mac configurations... The bigger the Map, the bigger the lag. Point is, I've made a lot of tests, and it seems that there is no solution to fix it. The guys at Facepunch told me to ask "here" for tests and support, because I have an unsupported Mac.
So, the situation is: no CPU load, no memory load, only a GPU load... magistral actually... not on the high side... a DROP. On a regular beat of 9 to 10 minutes, the GPU drops completely. If I stop playing, the GPU come back to normal faster... as you can see on the image. The last DROP is disproportional, because I started CS:GO and Cinebench just 75 seconds before...
It's a regular drop, no matter what I do, playing, moving or not, small map or large...
oh, and yes, this is on a RX 5700 XT... but it's the exact same thing with a RX-570 and, and on two different computers...
Is this something you faced somewhere else ?
