Sorry if this is a stupid question but I am just curious. Would running two displays from a single graphics card slow down the GPU when compared to only running one monitor on it? Thanks

It will of course take more power to run two displays but if your only running things like web browsers and photoshop you wont even notice the difference. If your trying to run duel screen games ( like FSX ) then its a whole different story but for anything other then gaming you won't notice a difference.

I'd be using it for Maya, zbrush, Photoshop, and some simpler applications like iTunes and web browsing.

I think you'll be fine... Those aren't the most intensive apps, so shouldn't be a problem. Of course depends on the GPU you have
