MP 7,1 GPU issues in Monterey and Resolve? Quad W6800x is slower than Duo W6800x!

I am having a funny issue - in playback performance in Davinci Resolve and R3d raw, the W6800x Duo is twice as fast (72 FPS vs 40 FPS) as Quad W6800x, or two duos.

The Quad gpus are faster in export and other areas like noise reduction, but in playback are half the speed.

What can be going on here? I connected resolve support, but they have no idea so far. I wonder if it's the new OS, I'd have to downgrade back to Big Sur to test, but definitely something funny here.

Any possible ideas?

Its been awhile that you have posted. I just bought it 2 x W6800X Duo and having an serious issue. I think my case is very similar to you but don't know.

I have posted on Apple's forum Unexpected Performance of 2 x W6800 Duo with Apple Infinity Fabric Link Bridge

However no reply yet and it seems not many people are using 2 x W6800X Duo and have experience with the issue.

When I use Fabric Link Bridge the FPS went down to 50% in some case.
Better without Infinity Fabric Link Bridge. I don't understand.

Did you test both with Infinity Bridge and without ?
