i have now ordered my university computer. i feel all tingly!!!
a 15" powerbook G4 to be exact, with loads of little bits and peices to go with it....upgraded the unit itself to 100GB hd, 1GB ram, and superdrive, and also purchased a maxtor onetouch 200GB hard drive, mighty mouse, wireless keyboard, MS office 2004 student and teacher, and a green iPod mini from the 'student union' offer, which i am going to give to my dad, who helped to make the purchase possible. (he doesnt know it yet

i am soooo happy.
thanks to my dad, for the help, and thanks to all my macrumors buds for presenting a warm and friendly forum to discuss the mac world!!
