What happened to the Grab App? It's not there in Mojave anymore?
I used that app all the time and loved it.
I see other "grab" type apps in the Store, but none of them say they can print. Just copy and paste sorta.
I used to grab a selection with text, and then just print the Grab.
Is it gone now?
If so, can someone recommend another app that can print a selection as text???
TIA

Grab has been replaced by keyboard commands in Mojave. I knew this before I upgraded, so I moved the Grab app to my downloads folder so I still have it. I prefer Grab as well, so hopefully it continues to work on future macOS versions.

Oh Jeez.
Good thinking on your part. THANKS!

omg so much misinformation in this thread..

Grab has been deprecated. it's gone.

There is a new app called "ScreenShot" that behaves they way Snippet does in Windows. A far superior app.

Using CMD+Shift+3 will SS your current screen view. Add the app to your dock from the launcher and move on.

Grab is awful and dead.

It's not misinformation. I just wasn't aware of the Screenshot being an actual app. You may not like Grab, but it still serves a good purpose for those of us that are used to it.

Preview allows screen grabs in 7 SAVE formats from the bottom of it's File menu. Much better than Grab.

So it works on Mojave? I'm gonna copy it over from High Sierra and use it! Thanks!

The new Screenshot app is pretty nice as it has all the options right on a screen overlay. I like having Grab as well at least until I transition to the new app.
