Hey guys,

While I absolutely love my iTouch, I am kind of disappointed in the quality of the images transfered from iPhoto/iTunes. They are very grainy (dithered) and I was wondering if there was any way to change iTunes (a plist or something) to get them to be less compressed ... ?

I realize that by increasing the IQ, file sizes will be increased (and that will, in turn, make rendering the pics slower) but I really don't care. In fact, I don't even really care about the resolution, all I want is less compression. My pictures are all noticeably dithered and it looks pretty bad IMO (especially with skin - my seven-month-old son's face isn't smooth at all on the iTouch!) ... :(

Any ideas on how I can fix/hack this?

From what I know, that's pretty much how the touch displays all images. Not much u can do about it.
