I remember in a relatively recent release of the OS, grand central station was touted as one of the big selling features. At the time, programmers did say that it would take time to take advantage of this feature. Since I haven't heard any mention of grand central station recently, I was wondering if this is a vital element in mavericks or if it was simply a selling point at the time.
