Grant Imahara, host of MythBusters, dies at 49
So sad, I loved the show and brought so much energy and enjoyment.

Yes, he was always so calm and methodical with his approach to their builds. He was also really enjoyable to watch, fun loving, kind, and even a bit shy but always endearing. It's a sad and sudden loss but we have many backlogged years of shows we can look back on as well. RIP Grant, he was one of the good ones.Grant Imahara, host of MythBusters, dies at 49

Have to agree, although the gut punch is coming from a different perspective for me.This one was a bigger gut punch than most of the recent passing for me. This man was brilliant, and I’ve never seen anyone comment on him with anything other than him being a genuinely nice and caring person.
MythBusters was a huge part of my growing up.
Grant Imahara died earlier this week, ending a life and career that saw the electrical engineer and robotoicist become one of the mostly reliably charming and informed faces in the world of science-minded TV. Now, both Discovery and Science Channel have announced that they’ll be paying tribute to Imahara this weekend, running marathons of his work on Killer Robots, White Rabbit Project, and especially MythBusters on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
