Does anyone use grapher? I have never been able to figure out if there is in fact a way to turn on the axis labels x,y,z and possibly get some values on the axes as well.

Anyone ever been able to do this?

If you're looking to just turn on the x, y, z labels and not rename them, click on the "inspector" icon and click on the graph - this will bring a menu full of options.

Grapher 3D : labels

That was the Inspector's job, but for an unknown reason (bug ?) it does not work in 3D ; so, no axes labels nor numbers in 3D graphs.
You may use different colors and arrows for x, y, z axes, choose main graduation every n units and number of secundary marks (menu Format/Axes and frame/Axis/Inspector), nothing else I'm afraid.
Any question about Grapher by e-mail welcome. YB24
