hey i was wondering what the differences are between the entrylevel MBP and the mid range MBPs graphics card?

i know the mid range one is better but i was wondering how much a difference it would make on like casual gaming, like flight simulator or like the sims and stuff like that.....

ps i plan on using my 37 inch Vizio hdtv as an external monitor...

please and thanks to anyone!!!!

No difference in the GPU.

Base Model = 128MB
Mid Range = 256 MB.

You'll likely notice no difference unless you're gaming on a larger external monitor.

I know there are benchmarks proving a somewhat 3-7% increase in performance relative to additional video memory.

Keep in mind the 17 Inch model has the GPU clocked up slightly higher than the 15 inch.

I bought the 2.4GHz model because it has a larger hard drive and they didn't have the cheap model in stock at the time. Otherwise I'd imagine I could live with the 2.2 model and it'll work just as fine as my current MBP (which I love v. miuch).
