Hey all,
I have a 2008 early Mac Pro... have an 8800 GT that seems to be dead. Computer powers on, get startup chime, iPhone syncs like normal, superdrive ejects, etc. but just never get any type of display on screen... tried switching monitors, switching ports, etc... never get a display.. tried resetting PRAM, SMC, reseated card, changed PCI slots, etc... no luck.
So what card can I get? I thought I could just buy another 8800 GT but I see you can't get them anywhere as they'be been discontinued??
I see 4 options on the Apple store... but they are for the 2009 Mac Pro. Will these work with mine? I don't need/want a $400 graphics card, but I have a dual monitor setup... what can I get for the 250-300 range?
