Graphics card and Final Cut problem

I just purchased a refurbished G5 quad core, It came with a geforce 6600 graphics card now it says it wont run my copy of final ct 4.5 becuse i dont have an agp graphics card but final cut 5 needs one too final cut 6 says it will work with a pci express graphics card is that the same as my geforce 6600 pci card?
