Graphics card compatible?

I just bought an used G4 agp 400mhz and am very happy with it, except for my video card wich only has 16mb of ram. I wondered if my regular card from my pc might work in my g4? (I noticed there is an extra slot next to the brown agp one...)

Nope. You need a Mac specific card (as it has a different ROM image). Also if you are upgrading for a performance gain then you really want to use AGP not PCI (which is what the slot beside the AGP one is). Check out EBay.

As a Sawtooth owner who upgraded the graphics card I'd say definatily invest in a replacement for that old Rage Pro. I put a Radeon 9000 w/ 128 VRAM in mine and things are a lot smoother. I also am able to play WCIII, and even actually ran the demo of UT04 on it even though it's only a 450MHZ ( just as a note, I did have to tweek the UT04 settings to get gameplay stable ). I also get the cool Cube user swithching visuals.

Well, hey now, some PC video cards you can flash with a mac bios and they work...
