Graphics card for Non Intensive Gaming

I see lots of posts about graphics card in respect to gaming; I am not a gamer. At most I might play Simcity or Company of Heroes but nothing like a fast paced first person shooter game.

I also can not afford the high end 27"; I will mostly do photo editing in lightroom and photoshop along with some modest work in AutoCAD and Revit (not intensive rendering).

So, can someone recommend which graphics card is good enough; I am debating between the higher spec 21.5" or the lower spec 27". Will one make a difference in regards to graphics cards?
