Graphics Card Incompatibility?

I want to buy the standard Mac Pro, which comes with an ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256MB. I have a NVidia 7900 GS 256MB. Would I be able to put both of these into the Mac Pro at once without compatibility issues?

They just won't work at all in OS X.

Yes. You must also only buy the Apple versions of the cards.

Consider the EFIX module. It'll allow you to use up to Series 9 cards from NVIDIA, with Series 200 and AMD/ATI 4800 support coming soon.
