Hello, last week i tried getting into imovie, and a message comes up. It says "imovie requires a graphics card that is compatible with quartz extreme. One or more of your graphics cards does not support quartz extreme." I have been on a couple forums where people have had the same problem, and there doesn't seem to be a solution. I would really appreciate some help.

Have you tried an Archive and Install to reinstall the OS drivers? That's pretty much the closest to a non-destructive solution I can think of.

My macbook bought at 2008.Nov. with 2.1GHZ CPU and 667MHz DDR2 DRAM.

I have "exact same" problem !!

This problem happened after I updated 3 files about "Intel GMA X3100 driver"
1.AppleIntelGMAX3100.fext
2.AppleIntelGMAX3100FB.fext
3.Natit.fext

Now I don't have OSX Install DVD disc, anyone could provide the original 3 .fext files for me ?
