you can upgrade your ram change your battery even your hard drive this macbook is very user friendly but can you upgrade you video card? i have no clue to the layout or if it is intergrated onto the motherboard? yes or no and if you can answer why not.thanks

Pretty much every laptop since the history of laptops has had non-upgradable graphics.

The only solution is to buy the best graphics you need/can afford at the time and then when your needs change, upgrade your notebook.

got it

No you can't, because the graphics chip is integrated into the MacBook's ~$600 logic board.

ok thanks that is what I wanted to know.:apple:
maybe the next generation computer will have that option and be the ultimate upgradable machine..that would be soo nice.

we can dream till then

yeah but can you imagine if they did make it where we could upgrade the graphic card. Just imagine it . Apple could say they were the first to make A laptop totally upgradable and user friendly..wow what A wonderful Mac world it would be..:)

There are many PC laptops where you can upgrade video cards but none that I have seen in the mac world.

It wouldn't be a Mac world. Apple is opposed to upgradeability and interoperability on principle.
