I've posted in the past a few problems I've had with my June '07 Macbook Pro I got well, last year in June '07. My graphics card has failed once. I noticed that one of the first symptoms which was either related or unrelated to the eventual failure was how it responded to QuickLook and transparent windows. Eventually it wouldn't boot without checkerboards. This was all on 10.5.4.

Just the other night, which was a month after repair, I decided to use QuickLook... and the entire computer stalled. It just froze. The mouse worked... but that's it. After sitting there for two hours (I left and came back) it was still frozen. I had to hold down the power button to reset it.

I checked the logs and saved them. This is what came up during this time:

These were the same responses I had before I had to eventually send my Macbook Pro for a logic board replacement.

Advice, opinions? Does this happen to anyone else... on a Macbook Pro or really any Macs running 10.5.5. Quicklook problem or something bigger?
