Hi guys i'm having some problem please give me solution

Macbook Pro 15 inch, 2.66Ghz, Mid 2009 model

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M and NVIDIA GeForce 9600m GT

I downloaded a program called GFXcard switch so if i switch to NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT i don't have any problem but if i switch to NVIDIA GeForce 9400M the screen get fuzzy, lots of colourful lines

so basically less powerful one is faulty. is there any solution from apple or anyway i can permanently disable that graphics ?

Any repair would likely require replacement of the logic board, which would cost a pretty penny, assuming you don't have AppleCare. If you're fine with using the discreet/high performance GPU all the time, you can disable automatic graphic switching via the energy saver panel in system preferences.

thanks for quick reply ; so there no other solution. I thought Nvidia or Apple may have released a firmware to fix this issue. I am aware of Nvidia graphics issue in 2008 model with silver keyboard and 2010 Model unibody macbook pro

but nothing for 2009 model ?
