Hi,

Need some major help, I'm forced to using a PC at work, I'm a designer. The head of IT said after a year of asking if I can put forward a case I might be able to get a Mac to work on.

Thing is I've been using a Mac for so long at home I simply don't know what to say about all the Pro's especially for a graphics person without a non biased view.

So I need a list of reasons, software which is Mac only and relevant to my job (graphic designer) being the major factor. any ideas would be great as I need to make this go well for a chance to escape Windows at work.

HELP!!

hihi… I actually didn't get the Exposé "slowmo" working at first…

Using the "corners" with shift doesn't work, but I tried again with the .app and I agree – It's better then the Dashboard slowmo! :D

… eh… regarding the PC vs. Mac:

Just hit him with the fact that you can have both OS X & Winblows on the Mac = 2 machines for the prize of one! ;)

And that way you won't have to choose! :p

the only way you're getting a new computer is if that new computer will make you more productive. when building your case, list all the reasons how using a mac will help you work more efficiently compared to a pc.
