You need Java 1.6 to run Gratepic on mac osx 10.4 intel machines only ;)

I have everything done all my codes set soylatte is installed in about 10 places - .profile .bash configured correctly

Terminal says "java -version" is 1.6 and is good  ... but GRATEPIC installer still does not work?

How do i fix it?

Chris-Bs-Computer:~ chrisbrown$ java -version
java version "1.6.0_03-p3"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_03-p3-landonf_22_nov_2007_13_38-b00)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.6.0_03-p3-landonf_22_nov_2007_13_38-b00, mixed mode)

the error i get is here

The Java (note not JAVA, Java is not an acronym :)) 1.6 supplied by Apple is 64-bit only. Sounds like a problem with that as it is only seeing the 32-bit version of Java on your machine.

Thanks for the reply but i don't think were there yet ... As you can see on this web PAGE!! there is a nifTY development with JAvA that allows you to use 1.6 verions of JaVa on MAC OSx.

Thats what Soylatte is all about ... stretching the user base of JAVA to 10.4 systems also ... hence 32bit !

so no thats not really the problem - i think it's something to do with the compiler referencing my JAVA in my applications location.

Still problems making GratePic work for flickr

i can't get my grate pic to load.
drag n drop to Terminal says ...
