Does anyone know of, or has dealt with, either a computer recycler or repair facility where I might find the husk of an old, dead-to-the-world iMac G5? I have an interior design idea and I'm trying to come up with just the shell, not the guts.

Tnx.

no idea other than hanging out around a (local to you) electronics recycle event. sometimes they will let you cherry pick stuff out of the pile, just depends on whomever is running the event. smile, say 'please and thanks', can't hurt to try. i've got some cool stuff that way. :)

online you can finds bits here and there. THIS ebay store is a group down in TX that i've bought stuff from on several occasions. not me, no connection other than a happy customer. the place is full of old apple nerds, they've helped me find some really off the beaten path stuff before. type 'apple' in the search box for a quick look, call them up with specific requests. best of luck.
