Twice today when I powered up my MacBook it went from the gray loading screen to a blue screen, then back to a gray loading screen (with loader icon frozen) and then back to blue screen followed by the Leopard login screen. Is this strange start-up behavior something I should be worried about?

Normally it goes gray > blue > Login screen.

Other than that the computer seems fine.

If you installed any software updates since the last time you restarted, the boot process can look different as it goes through extra steps to finalize those updates.

Haven't installed any updates, but i continued to see this strange boot order. Late last night I cleared all of my caches and did some maintenance with Onyx. Everything seems normal this morning. Thanks for your reply.
